The Freedom of Discipline

When I was younger, I thought of freedom as being able to do whatever you want. However, we always have to deal with the consequences of our choices. That is how I learned that discipline actually provides freedom when applied properly.

One of my clients, who is having his best year ever, shared with me how great it is to have choices about how to run the business when cash flow is not the driving factor. How did they get this freedom? They developed a marketing system, with defined steps that they execute consistently, that generates a steady flow of leads each month, so they can grow the company knowing they can count on new business coming in.

As a business owner, you have the freedom to run your business however you like. But that is not why you started your business is it? If you are like me, and a lot of my clients, you started your business to make a difference in the world and to achieve some level of financial freedom.

So, what can you do to create more freedom for yourself and achieve your dreams? I would recommend that you look at where you can be more disciplined in generating new business and delivering outstanding results for your clients.

Let’s use the freedom we have to achieve what matters most to us. That freedom is what makes the USA one of the best places to live and run a business.
